Our Women's Empowerment community outreach program that focuses on skills building, women's learning and developing confidence. Through their skills, women build confidence, an identification, and potential to get employment, create job opportunities, and create a better life. Several of the women who participate in Helping Lamp program are housewives who are unable to finish their education because of their early marriage and conservative family members. After primary school, some were dropouts and are fully dependent on their families. Many women also want to learn English so that they can get employment or can communicate with people beyond their community or can even teach English to their children.

Every person should have equal opportunities. But still, the achievement of equality faces huge challenges. The expectations of the society for girls and women can restrict their opportunities in social, economic, and political life. Women and girls across the world still have less standing, lower opportunities and fewer wages, less leverage over resources, and less influence than men & boys. Son preference keeps denying women the education they are entitled to. And also the burden of care work that women suffer impinges upon it and impacts their educational and employment opportunities.

Gender disparity is one of the big hurdles that modern society in all parts of India continues to threaten, hinder, and disable. Although gender discrimination is a crucial problem in several countries, it is particularly prominent in India where females have a deficit from education and opportunities to health and public status in several aspects of life.
